THE PLAN

FOR TRANSFORMING THE
U.S. PSEUDO-DEMOCRATIC POLITICAL
SYSTEM INTO A TRUE DEMOCRACY

Millions of ordinary people now understand the concept called "Global Free Trade" is merely a strategy created by a group of powerful, selfish men trying to replace political rule on Earth with their economic rule.

Some Latin American countries have rejected the U.S. initiated Free Trade Agreements, and in the United States angry citizens have marched to protest the concept of Global Free Trade. Mllions of Europeans, recognizing the subversive intent of the proposed European Constitution, have rejected it and are currently trying to create a more just constitution for proposal to the European communities.

Protesting and, perhaps, even defeating the concept of free trade, however, will not solve the problems faced by ordinary Americans, for the concept of free trade and the conquest of the U.S. political system by an aggressive fascist group are merely two manifestations of the true problems.

And what are these true problems? There are three major ones.

The first problem is the U.S.Constitution is deliberately biased toward wealth, thus creating a political system favoring wealth on all three levels: municipal, state, and federal. U.S. history verifies this. This problem can be solved by changing the American System to one that is fairer to common Americans.

The second is that to be legal and noncontestable, all efforts to change the American System must be made within the existing political system. This means by use of a political party. But it can't be the Republican or the Democrat party as neither has shown much interest in solving the problems of ordinary working Americans. It could be one of the existing minor parties, of which only the Greens has a substantial following, but the Green's priority is to protect the natural environment, not to change the political system.

The wisest of our species agree that a fair society is possible if political power was diffused among the entire citizenry, thus making it difficult, if not impossible, for an indiviudal or group to grasp political power. But this could happen in the U.S. only if the entire citizenry is willing to undertake the obligations and reponsibilities of maintaining government. And educated enough to do what is necessary.

Assuming Americans can be convinced of the logic of this plan, and mature enough to take action, the resulting political party would be structured to self-destruct once a new, approved political system is up and running efficiently, for in a true democracy professional politicians and political parties would be no longer necessary.

The third major problem is the ignorance of the American people. This is not to say they are stupid; there's a big difference between ignorance and stupidity. But, on the whole, over the centuries—and particularly during the past 60 years—current generations have become ignorant of many crucial truths withheld from them, or because of the lies told them, by their rulers. Consequently, they not only have a glorified, false perspective of U.S. history, but they misjudge their country's reputation in the world community. Which is why they have forever passively accepted the unjust, biased political system that keeps them impoverished and ignorant.

But before a plan for change should be developed, and before change can be initiated, there must be clearly defined objectives. What do you want your new society to be like? To look like? To feel like? To help you visualize what a fairer, more mature human social system could be like, and the benefits to be derived from such a society, read about this fictional America, a society in which political power is wielded equally by all of its citizens.

Following is such a plan.
