What If?

Why Change?

aine could just as easily have said, "if you don't participate, the future will not be yours, any more than it belonged to your parent's." Why not? Because in all probability neither your parents nor your grandparents participated in government or civil matters affecting their lives; they merely went to the polls and voted for someone else to make the important decisions for them.

But voting for other people to make the important decisions of social life is not the way mature, responsible people take care of their needs. Nor is it the way to build a true democracy or to retain the freedoms earned by the blood of so many patriotic Americans. It's why, after 200 years of pseudo-democracy, so few American families now own so much of the nation's natural and productive resources, and why there's such poverty and homelessness in the country.

However, the solutions to these problems don't depend upon which political party wields the power of government as most Americans believe. The problem is that it's the American System, itself, that creates poverty, homelessness, ignorance and frustration for so many millions of Americans. The problem is that the System has been deliberately designed to keep ordinary, working Americans out of government.

This is why so many mothers have been forced into the workplace instead of remaining at home to take care of their children, and why there are so many confused and angry children seeking stability and sanity in our insane, hostile social environments.

It's why the American public school systems turn out children of working families who are intellectually crippled; too many of whom can hardly read, and too many who are ignorant of the country's true history. If you would like to know the real reasons these conditions exist, read the words of a concerned American patriot named Walter Karp in his two articles called American education, and Why Johnny can't think.

Today's ruling classes have learned well the lesson that it's easier and more effective to enslave the human brain than the human body. It's why American children have been a primary target of the Establishment's subversive assaults for the past fifty years. It's why, in this era of vast information, we have a country of "consumers" and not of educated, civic minded "citizens" capable of self-government, or capable of meeting the demands of our exploding sciences and technologies.

Don't be fooled by the illusion of economic prosperity painted by Establishment propaganda. Common sense says a nation isn't prosperous, if citizens can't earn sufficient wages to afford the things they need and want without using "credit cards" and going into debt. The staggering debts of our local, state, and national governments—and our individual citizens—shout the lie of the Establishment's national "prosperity."

If you of today's young generations want your future to be without war, or poverty, or ignorance, or unemployment, or any of the other degrading and unnecessary habits and attitudes that comprise the heart of the contemporary American "civilization," then you will have to do whatever it is that's necessary to make it happen. You can not merely hope that the powers that be will make it happen as your parents have trustingly and foolishly done. You will have to design the future you want, create a plan to obtain your objectives, and then execute the plan. Consciously and deliberately. There is no other way.

This web site was created with the hope of persuading you to transform the American political system from a "representative" democracy into a true democracy, often called "participatory" or "direct" democracy; from a pseudo-democracy into a real democracy. It's to convince you to change it from a political system structured to serve the welfare of powerful, private interests to one concerned with the welfare of all citizens. It's about creating a social environment that will produce intellectually and emotionally mature citizens capable of caring for their own political needs without "representatives."

ontained on this site is an offer of a CD that presents the other side of the coin called "American history." It tells the story of how common American farmers and workers were thwarted in their desires for true democracy by wealthy, privileged Americans at the Constitutional Convention of 1787.

A second section describes a fictional society called "America, which could be the logical next step for citizens of the U.S. who are tired of corrupt government. It describes Americans who finally have understood the only way to eliminate the corruption and abuse of political leaders is to take upon themselves the obligations and responsibilities of maintaining their own government—as mature people should do. It explains their new political system and its many benefits; benefits that have never before been enjoyed by commoners of any other Earth society.

A third section offers a plan to help educate the American citizenry to the benefits of true democracy and begin the move away from representative government, and a fourth that describes the cultures, customs, and institutions that chain you to subordinate position in your own country. Still another section tries to analyze what we humans truly are, as opposed to what we believe we are, and why we do the same destructive and stupid things generation after generation.

If you read nothing more of this website, read the denunciation of the American System by the young college students of the 60's and 70's in their famous "Port Huron Manifesto." It is a much more meaningful condemnation of the U.S.than mine.
