Word to Students

It is the intent to use the income from sale of the CD discs to initiate a not-for-profit, two-division, educational organization to promote the benefits of true democracy. The organization was first proposed in September, of 2005 at a conference of the World-wide Direct Democracy Movement in Prague, Czech Republic.

One division will, among other projects, create and publish a course of study for high school and college students presenting the pros and cons of true democracy, which is the only form of governance not to have ever had a fair chance on planet Earth, and the only form with the potential to guarantee that neither individuals nor groups can take control of the political process or of government.

The second division will initiate a national system of political discussion designed to eliminate the confusion about true democracy, and enlighten Americans about its benefits and demands. It is also intended to unify common Americans as a political force.

Let us understand from the beginning what Chapters for Change is all about.

Since the very first day of the republic’s existence, common working citizens of the United States have been fighting for one or more human rights: civil rights, woman’s rights, voting rights, children’s rights, right to live your own lifestyle, right to a fair wage, right to a reasonably priced healthcare system, right to this, and right to that.

The reason for this unhealthy condition is wealthy citizens of the republc, who have always held the power of government and the making of laws, or those poweful enough to influence the making of laws, have never wanted the nation to be a democracy. They have preferred totalitarian or authoritarian government. So, for more than two hundred years, common Americans have been embattled in class warfare, with privileged Americans who prefer their pseudo democracy in which they place profit before people, personal rather than social welfare, and ignorant rather than educated commoners. and .

In their pursuit of profit and grand schemes of empire, these people have placed the country in one unnecessary war after another causing the needless deaths of hundreds of thousands of young Americans and millions of innocent foreign citizens. Throughout all of the past two hundred years, they have squandered and looted the wealth of the nation for themselves. They are truly evil, the real enemies of common Americans, and they are a scourge upon the Earth. The lies and deceptions of the current Administration give but only a hint of their full evilness.

Sadly, since the end of World War II, they have enticed a great many working Americans to adopt the principles of greed as their core philosophy: profit before people, and personal well-being before society's well-being. For more than fifty years, this visual buffer of millions of grasping, working Americans has helped to hide their destructive activites from the eyes of the public, allowing them to chip away at the strengths of the United States, hiding the reality of the one-sided class war. The truth is these people prefer dictatorship to democracy, as long as they comprise the dictating class.

But enough is enough!

The CD, A Better World, attempts to reveal this wickedness to the American people, and Chapters for Change is an attempt to help common Americans unite, form the greater political force, takeover control of government by 2012, and create the kind of society they can only now dream about.
